This has been such a fun year celebrating students who participated in Math Problem of the Month. Check out these snapshots of class winners and participants from the second half of the year. Thanks parents for all of your support in promoting problem solving at home!
There will be one final K4 Screening for the 2024-2025 school year on Friday, May 17th. Please see the attached flyer for more details.
Make plans to join us on Tuesday for Related Arts Night from 3:00 - 6:30! All students will have artwork on display and for sale, the Book Fair will be open for shopping, you can tour and experiment in the STEM lab, and our 1st grade students will end the evening with a musical performance at 6:00. We hope to see you all then!
Students are bringing home instructions for an online parent survey. Please complete this before April 12. Students are also bringing home packets of work to be completed on April 8 (an eLearning Day due to the solar eclipse). Stay safe, enjoy your time with family, and we’ll see you on April 9!

National School Breakfast Week (NSBW) is this week and celebrates the importance of a nutritious school breakfast in fueling students for success. This special observance celebrates the national School Breakfast Program and the many ways it gives kids a great start every day. Be sure to have your children eat breakfast at school this week!

Due to the possibility of severe weather in our area, Abbeville County School District will dismiss students at 11:00 AM today. Students will be served lunch before dismissal. Please note there is no school on Monday, January 15th in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. All after school activities, including YMCA after school care, have been cancelled for today.
Due to the anticipated high wind gusts of over 40 miles per hour forecast for tomorrow, Abbeville County School District will operate on an e-Learning Day tomorrow, Tuesday, January 9th. Your child will be bringing home work today to be completed tomorrow. Students and teachers will not report to school. All after school activities scheduled for tomorrow are cancelled.
Congratulations to these students (and a few others not pictured) for being selected as class winners for December's Math Problem of the Month. They were recognized on the Morning News today and will receive a coupon for an ice cream treat to redeem in the cafeteria. All participants were rewarded with some extra time in the gym with Coach Botts. Keep up the good work!
