Fifth grade learned about Marilyn Hamilton in our informational text, "Wheelchair Sports." She helped invent the modern day sports wheelchair for paraplegic athletes. Mr. Marco Bungert came and shared his personal experience with us. We enjoyed it very much. We were able to make connections to the story that we otherwise may not have. He was a great motivation for us as well. A big thanks to him!
