Wright Middle School had the pleasure of hearing Langston Moore and Preston Thorne, former NFL and USC alumni football players, speak to the student body today. These guys are from right here in South Carolina and have written several children’s books. Stressing the importance of reading, writing, and speaking well, the two former Gamecocks have made it their mission to travel around the Palmetto State and speak to the youth of South Carolina in hopes of empowering young students to see their own potential. They gave an enlightening presentation highlighting how success looks different for different people.
